London Effect

No, I'm not talking about the "Kate effect." I'm talking about these Olympics that have obviously affected fashion. I have a feeling that they're going to be the best ones yet; not just because of London (one of my favorite cities), but also because this year we have more technology, which brings the world together.

Gap 'vintage' Olympics collection
Tank, $24.95; gap.com (London 1948). Tee, $29.95 (Paris 1924).
These look great with dark jeans or, following the sporty theme, leggings. If you're feeling bold, try them with bright skinny jeans in wild hues like yellow or bright pink.

For him
Tokyo 1964, L. A. 1932 and Barcelona 1992 shirts. All, $29.95
Stay loyal to the usual "jeans and a tee" style, but you can dress it up with a stylish hat.

Kids' shirts also available.

Forever 21

Pullover, $15.80. Cookie Monster crop top, $13.80. Sleeveless flag shirt (15.90 USD).

Perfume
DKNY Be Delicious I Heart London, $65; dkny.com.

And of course, the Union Jack
Zara TRF tank and shorts. Forever 21 gray pullover, 17.80 USD.
